Ed Chiaramonte has 40+ years experience in the directional drilling field beginning as an MWD manager, Drilling Operations manager and finally Vice President of Operations for various directional drilling companies. He has been responsible for all aspects of the business including sales, planning, operations, finance, legal and administration. Mr. Chiaramonte has been a key part in the growth and expansion of various directional drilling companies.
Following a BS Degree in Geology, Ed has 40+ years in directional drilling field with emphasis on MWD systems Experienced in the role of MWD Manager, Operations Manager, and VP of Operations for multiple directional drilling companies.
Mike Jones brings 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across several service sectors with the last twenty years being in the directional drilling industry.
Mike’s communication, leadership, teamwork and goal achievement skills were developed over a “twenty-year” football coaching career at the University of Oklahoma where they won Seven Conference Championships and One National Championship. He has utilized those skills to assist companies like Chesapeake, Devon, Continental, BP, Crimson Energy, Unit Petroleum and Williams to execute drilling programs in numerous basins across the country.
Mike works as a liaison between his team at NOVA and the customer to overcome obstacles and deliver cutting edge technology and equipment to achieve top tier results. Mike or an Operations Manager is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to address any operational issues you may have. You will never be routed through an answering service. We believe in personal and knowledgeable service to our customers.
Aaron Lee started in the Oil field in 1998 with Helmerich and Payne where he worked his way up from floor hand to driller. Aaron drilled for H&P until 2007, when he left to pursue a career in the directional drilling industry. Aaron has extensive experience in the directional field drilling in many different formations including Haynesville Shale , Permian Basin , Anadarko , James Lime , Austin Chalk , Marcellus , Stack, Scoop, Eagleford, and Delaware Basin. Aaron is an asset to the Nova team with his ability to troubleshoot and streamline all aspects of Downhole operations.
Mr. Puente has 10+ years experience in the directional drilling field as a Well Planner and operations support. Proficient in all aspects of well planning, technical analysis and reporting. BS in engineering from Texas A&M University.
He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with 15 years in directional drilling field as well planner and operations support.
Gary has 15+ years of experience as MWD and Directional Driller. He has experience with different types of directional wells in different areas. Knowledge with different MWD software and tools.
